Promoting Scottish bagpiping and drumming since 1971.
Representing Eastern Ontario and West Quebec, The Ottawa Branch of the Pipers' and Pipe Band Society of Ontario actively promotes Scottish bagpiping and drumming through educational initiatives, competitions, and community engagement.

As a branch, we are the largest in the province and have a very active community with many established musicians originating from the region. Some notable contests organized by the Ottawa Branch are the Fall and winter Knockout Series, The Amateur Piobaireachd Contest, The Indoor Highland Games and The Glengarry Cup. Organizations within the Ottawa branch are also host additional non-sanctioned Highland Game in the summer months giving this region a total of 5 additional games. At the end of the year. Come Fall, the Branch awards an Eastern Ontario Champion Supreme award to the highest scoring soloists and bands and The Tom Brown Memorial trophy awarded to the most successful band in any grade.
