April 5th: Amateur Piobaireachd & Knockout Final Contest

As the sun set on another successful PPBSO - Ottawa Branch Winter season, it was an afternoon filled with fierce competition. We welcomed 40 competetors between 2 contests to The Junior Ranks Mess in the heart of Ottawa and they did not disapoint . The days atmosphere was one of camaraderie and pride, as participants, judges, and spectators gathered to honour the talented pipers who took part in the contest.

First, A heartfelt thank you to our esteemed judges, Colin MacLellan, Jenny Hazzard, Mark Passmore and Kahlil Cappuccino for their time, expertise, and dedication in evaluating today’s performances. Your invaluable insights and encouragement have made this contest a truly memorable and enriching experience for all involved.

Secondly, A sincere thank you to all the volunteers whose hard work and dedication behind the scenes made this event possible. Your efforts, enthusiasm, and commitment are truly appreciated and have helped create a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone.

We are excited to see what the Ottawa Branch Indoor Contest brings on May 10th.
